Job Description

Science Teacher Needed For An Outstanding Secondary School in Bolton!Start date: September 2023Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and meaningful lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive behaviour management strategies
  • Participating in parent-teacher meetings and other school events
  • Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • A proven track record of outstanding teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching primary students
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in the classroom
