An exciting, long term opportunity for an ambitious, full time Payroll Manager in Bolton. Supervising a payroll assistant and reporting directly to the Financial Controller with the opportunity to recruit and expand your team over the next few years.Client DetailsA well established business operating throughout the UK which is currently going through a period of exponential growth. Now looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to report directly into the Financial Controller and with plans to expand and grow the teamin the coming years.DescriptionYour responsibilities as Payroll Manager will include:- Accurately preparing and inputting payroll data including starters, leavers & amendments- Calculating all areas of payroll including overtime, SSP, SMP and Pensions- Managing the completion of monthly payrolls for up to 1200 employees- Completing annual and monthly statutory returns- Producing management reports as required by the Financial Controller- Liaising with third parties such as HMRC & DWP to resolve queries- Managing a payroll assistantProfileThe successful candidate will:- Have detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation and national insurance rules- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Have previous experience of payroll management- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail- Have excellent organisational skills- Have previous experience of Payroll software such as Civica - DesirableJob OfferUp to £45,000 Salary + Annual Individual & Company Bonuses (up to 10% of salary) + Flexible Working Hours
