Job Description

Youll gain experience in some or all the following IT areas: Testing infrastructurecomponents, providing IT support, and much more.If this is the perfect opportunity for you, apply now!IT skills developed:

  • To assist with the checking and maintenance of the ICT resources for safe, effective use
  • To assist with the maintenance of user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment;
  • Maintenance of desktop PCs and laptops, including building, configuring, updating, and deploying hardware to users;
  • Assist with the maintenance and support of centralised printing system;
  • To work with the ICT team to ensure that IT and acceptable use policies are adhered to;
  • Liaising with suppliers and external providers, as directed by the ICT Network Manager or a member of the Senior Leadership Team;
  • Troubleshooting PC, wired, and wireless LAN problems;
  • Troubleshooting and configuration of AV equipment including projectors and speakers;
  • To work with the team to deploy new software applications and updates to existing software packages;
  • To assist with the accurate documentation of systems and assets;
  • To assist the ICT helpdesk, escalating support calls to the ICT Network Manager / Assistant ICT Network Manager in a timely fashion to ensure effective and efficient service desk call resolution
  • Ensure all documentation is stored and processed in line with the Data Protection Policy and Document Retention Guidelines in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
