Design and Technology teacher - full time - Bolton - September Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology to join a secondary school near Bolton from September for the whole of the academic year of 24/25. The role will be full time, and it is essential that youhold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching at least 1 subject within Design and Technology at a UK secondary school. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required. You will be required to be able to teach at least 1 of these subjects, resistant materials, graphics & food technology. All candidates will be required to hold QTS/QTLS and please note only short listed candidates will be contacted. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bolton Position Design and Technology Teacher Start date September 2024 End date July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP153.85 per day Hours 8:30AM 4:00PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Subject specific teaching experience Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided) Design and Technology UK Teaching experience desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
