Job Description

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with a proven background in Global Mobility and now looking for a new challenge. If so then Ashley Kate HR & Finance are working with a global client on a new International HR Advisor position. Remote working but you willneed to be able to get to sites across the North of England, the South East and South West so being based in these locations would be useful. Working with the Group International HR Manager, you will provide specialist advice to internal customers in relation to the application and interpretation of the business international Assignment Policies.You will manage all phases of the Life Cycle e.g. preparing assignment cost projections; day to day liaising with 3rd party external suppliers for relocation support; conducting assignee briefings to detail the international assignment package and process; Joint responsibility for expat payroll delivery (e.g. monthly instructions and payroll coordination with 3rd party suppliers in the UK and internationally) Supporting the team with the invoicing process between UK and external suppliers who support the UK & International assignment processes. When required, supporting ad-hoc International Assignments Team administrative activities (e.g. report preparation, policy documentation updates, wider project involvement e.g. policy review/rewrite) Supporting the HR Manager - Group International & Assignments as and when required (e.g. with the employment tax and immigration requirements when they are setting up new premises in new locations overseas). HR Advisor - International - About You

  • Experience in Expatriation Taxation and Social Security is essential.
  • Knowledge of UK immigration procedures for inbound assignees
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Take ownership, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Being pro-active and able to take initiative
  • Build Trust and develop effective relationships
  • Previous Corporate experience working in International Assignments or Global Mobility
