Job Title: Estimator/Technical/Production AssistantFull TimeLocation: BoltonSalary: CompetitiveMetal Solutions Ltd are the UKs leading fabricator of all traditional metal roofing systems, cladding systems & components.We are currently recruiting an experienced full time Estimator to assist our Technical Manager in the estimation of projects, offering customers technical advice and managing the fabrication of customers orders through our busy fabrications workshop.Successful candidates’ duties will include:• Assist the Companies Technical Manager in the estimation of specialist sheet metal roofing and cladding projects• Assist offering customers with a wide range of technical advice• Processing of customers fabrication orders via Sage Line 50, from the Companies quotation and customers drawing schedules• Raising purchase orders for fabrications requiring out of house services i.e. anodising, powder coating• Overseeing the production of fabrication works keeping customers informed and lead times adhered to etc.• Assisting with the management and ordering of metal stock• Arranging transportation for oversized fabrications requiring dedicated vehiclesSuccessful applicant must have transferable skills from a similar industry, be competent on Microsoft Office, Outlookand Excel essential.
