Job Description

Trainee IFA North East Office £22,500 - £33,000 DOEConsegna Talent have recently engaged with a forward-thinking and dynamic full-service wealth management firm to support their next phase of growth on several roles across the UK.If progression is key on your list, then this business can certainly offer that as they have achieved 20% YOY growth.They can help develop your career within the Financial Services space by offering the guidance through to a Financial Advice role if that is your chosen route. Ideally, they would like you to be working towards Level 4 Diploma, or already qualified withplans to move towards Chartered level. However they do also offer an excellent progression route, supporting & funding candidates through Level 4 qualification & even further with a Chartered route available.What are they looking for in a Trainee IFA

  • Have the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role within financial services space.
  • Ideally have 2 years within a paraplanning role or IFA Adminsitrator position
  • Good communication skills are essential, with a high attention for detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a high-pressured environment.
Some key details on the expectations of a Trainee IFA:
  • Deliver comprehensive client reports and suitability letters, meeting timescales/quality standards.
  • Conduct necessary research, analysis and illustrations.
  • Liaise with the financial planners and other team members across the business.
  • To provide close effective administration and technical support for the financial planning team.
  • Ensure compliance standards and organisational requirements are met.
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge.
  • Fully understand the businesses compliance procedures.
