Job Description

CompanyNigel Wright has been appointed by a global manufacturing organisation to support in the recruitment of an Internal Sales Account Manager for aftermarket service contracts. The role will be based from offices near Newcastle upon Tyne and will offer hybridworking.Role

  • Assist and develop Service Contract growth.
  • The role encompasses all in and outbound communication to Customers as well as the external Sales team on all potential Service Contract opportunities.
  • Ensure that current Service contracts cover all customer requirements and are consistently reviewed to include the customers most up to date requirements.
  • Create service propositions for customers based on value rather than cost, alongside the Account Manager ensure new Service business Sales and profit targets are met
  • Ultimately working towards achieving annual Service targets for new and renewal business. Ensuring high levels of retention as well as generation of new Service contract business
  • Actively contact customers with the aim to generate further business and create/close open opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate levels of Management reporting communicated on a monthly basis.
  • Customer account management and Account Manager support for all new Service enquiries
  • Follow up customer leads from marketing campaigns and exhibitions.
  • Support the internal and external account managers with customer activities relating to Service
Experience
  • Experienced and highly confident in phone-based business to business sales and account management..
  • Experience of selling Services would be advantageous
  • Experience of working to targets in a fast paced, technical environment would.be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable skills in account management, developing and retaining the existing customer base.
  • Driven to explore new opportunities and identify new business
  • Excellent communication skills.
