JOB PURPOSEYou will be multi skilled and trained in every aspect of the personalisation centre with understanding of process from start to finish.RESPONSIBILITIES Scan in & create worksheet; Scan the order onto SAP system and select monogram to generate worksheet Pre QC check; inspect the product checking dimensions (scarfs only), looking for faults & flaws in the fabric, check functional aspects (snap buttons, zippers), labels & the specifically the monogram area Preparation; marking the product for the monogram application following the specifications and templates provided Monograming; Check the work sheet to confirm the letter combination & type required, setting and operating the machinery to conduct the monogram of initials- Embroidery, scarfs, bandannas & ponchos- Embossing, small leather & large leather goods- Engraving, perfume bottles- Application of crystals to scarfs- Application of gold letters to Rucksacks Finishing; for scarfs and ponchos only; burning off thermogaze using the heat press and air bench Cleaning; removing excess thermogaze, trimming lose threads, cleaning chalk marks, brushing scarfs to remove impression marks, also carrying out any repairs required, adding stitch, replacing crystal Final QC check; cross check the worksheet against the monogram item, ensuring initials, colour and monogram type is correct. Inspect the monogram area and application of monogram to ensure that quality is to highest standard Area of expertise will be assigned based on skills shown however will be flexible to change based on demand and work flow. Operative will be responsible for achieving personal KPIs keeping a time sheet showing tasks worked. Will have to operative machinery and be responsible for the daily cleaning and maintenance of the machine assigned.
