Job Description

Your next opportunity:Nigel Wright are delighted to be recruiting a Trainee / Junior Accountant for our client in Northumberland. This organisation will offer full support and development into the role.The client is happy to look at Degree level or Part Qualified candidates to join them.The role is 100% based at the clients location.The Role:Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly management accounts preparation – balance sheet management, fixed assets register maintenance & reconciliation, depreciation, prepayments, accruals and any other nominal procedures.
  • Cash book, pettycash & credit card management. monthly bank reconciliations, VAT Returns, Governmental submissions and other accounting duties such as purchase invoices, purchase payments, payroll processing.
As the ideal candidate:
  • Degree in a related field
  • Happy to work full time hours at the clients location.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – good team player
  • Strong IT and Excelskills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to challenge
  • Able to work to deadlines
