Job Description

Our client based in Northumberland are looking for an experienced Plasterer to work on a long term contract in Blyth and the surrounding areas.Job description:

  • Working within domestic properties (social housing).
  • General maintenance work.
  • Skimming, patching and making good.
  • Mixing the plaster to the right consistency.
  • Protecting non-plastering surfaces with appropriate materials.
  • Fixing and repairing previous plastering work when necessary.
  • Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard.
Person specification:
  • Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials.
  • Must have a valid CSCS Card (blue skilled minimum).
  • Must have a full UK driving license.
  • Able to work alongside other trades on site.
  • NVQ Level 3.
  • Valid asbestos awareness certificate is essential.
