MTrec’s New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing/engineering client, based in Northumberland, with their newest recruitment drive, by recruiting a permanent Mechanical Fitter to join their growing organisation. A successful candidatewill be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of various mechanical systems, cranes and heavy plant equipment.If you are an experienced Mechanical Fitter, looking for your next career move, apply now for an immediate response!The Job You’ll Do;
  • Responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of various mechanical systems, cranes and heavy plant equipment.
  • Responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Adhering to strict SOPs.
  • Adhering to strict Health & Safety Policies and Procedures, during any action undertaken on site.
  • Any other duties required day to day.
About You;
  • Ideally a time-served/apprenticeship educated engineer, within a maintenance or engineering subject.
  • Experience working on heavy plant equipment, such as cranes and plant equipment.
  • Experience within planned, preventative or reactive maintenance.
  • Hold relevant experience within maintenance/fitting positions previously.
  • Hold other relevant qualifications beneficial to the role would be desirable.
