Adecco North East are delighted to represent their client based in Blyth in a search for aMaintenance Manager to join their growing team. The purpose of the role is to manage the maintainence of all manufacturing plant equipment and facilities in good working order, by managing a team of Supervisors and Fitters.Duties Include:· Control of maintenance personnel and their rotas· Control of contractors· Machine installation and layouts· Ordering of parts· In control of the maintenance budget· Design of simple machinery i.e deburr, robot grippers and pick place· Repairing machinery and presses· The implementation of TPM systemQualifications & Experience:· Mechanical/Electrical based apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications· Experience working with both PLC and Fanuc control systems would be desirable· Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic· Knowledge of SAP (desirable)· Experience of managing teamThis role dictates the flexibility to work shift patterns when required to support the wider business.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
