Job Description

Working closely with the extended Operations team to ensure products are fit-for-manufacture. Implement & take ownership of appropriate process controls (Including Control Plans, SOSs, Risk Assessments, etc.).   • Ensure all work is undertaken to the required HSE standards.
  • Create PCB prototype design, building, testing and verification.
  • Develop and support all necessary software.
  • Support with Approvals requirements, including EMC testing, technical evaluations and drawing changes.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation and working methods to support design, ensuring quality and performance requirements are maintained.
  • Provide technical support to customer facing teams.
  • Work closely with remote Design Engineers in support of product lifecycle management, including upgrades, enhancements and obsolescence.
  • Implement & take ownership of appropriate process controls (Including Control Plans, SOSs, Risk Assessments, etc.).
  • Revision control of live and unreleased documentation or software.
  • Generate and introduce process improvements to support the 4.5% productivity goal each year.
  • Support and/or lead root cause analysis workshops as necessary to support Production stoppages and reoccurring issues. Job Description Version II October 2014 Internal
  • Create and maintain automated jigs and fixtures providing quick and effective solutions for malfunctions.
  • Liaise with outside contractors and suppliers where necessary to support departmental objectives.
  • Occasional travel off-site to conduct inspection of new equipment, attend training courses and support other business areas.
  • Application or willingness to learn LabVIEW (National Instruments)
