Community Outreach WorkerLocation: NorthumberlandSalary: £20,971 - £23,250 per annumJob Type: Full Time, Permanent (Hybrid Worker)Hours: 09:00 am- 17:00pm Monday-Thursday and 09:00-16:30 on Friday (There may be a need to work flexibly to account for your service users needs.)Are you passionate about making a positive impact on individuals involved in the criminal justice systemOur client is funded by the Northumbria Violence Reduction Unit supporting their vison to ensure Northumbria is a place where individuals, families and communities thrive, making the most of opportunities to live, learn and work free from the fear of violence.Working across the Northumbria Police Force area, this exciting new service will support adults accessing the Integrated Offender Management Scheme as well as Children and Young People aged 10 - 17 years (alongside their immediate families) who are vulnerableand/or at risk of being involved in serious violent crime.The RoleThe organisation looking for a dedicated Community Outreach Workers who will deliver wrap around’ support to individuals accessing the Integrated Offender Management scheme, and motivate and encourage individuals to work with specialist services in orderto make positive changes to their life and reduce their likelihood of offending.This role will be working across the Northumberland/North Tyneside area, mainly remote working with the central hub being in Newcastle.As a Community Outreach Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Caseload Management: Effectively manage a caseload of service users, providing comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.
  • Intervention Planning: Devise, implement, and review ongoing support plans and treatment strategies in collaboration with the service users. Your role is instrumental in helping them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including fellow colleagues, family members, and significant others, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach to support.
  • Goal Setting: Assist service users in setting and working towards their goals, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
