Small Works Manager required. Due to expansion and a continued strong order, our client has a requirement for a Small Works Manager to deal with all projects valued £50,000.00 or under. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the leadingand most well-established Aluminium fenestration companies in the Northeast.Small Works Manager - Position Overview

• To comprehensively manage all aspects of small works projects including but not limited to the pricing, design, installation, and applications for payment of all projects under the value of £50,000.00.
• This role will be partly based at our offices but will also entail travelling to various sites throughout the UK. (A company vehicle will be provided)
• To receive, review, log and price all small works projects using established process and pricing structure.
• To attend any pre-start meetings prior to the award of the contract to establish programs, labour allocation, site access requirements, site H&S requirements and welfare facilities provided.
• To survey any awarded contracts to establish conformity with the original quotation and enable the production of detailed design drawings that are to be passed off by the client prior to fabrication.
• To produce all-inclusive site-specific RAMS a minimum of two week prior to commencing works on site, this may also include other aspects relating to H&S.
• To communicate with the existing installations and project management team to allocate Installation labour.
• To manage the installation labour on site, addressing any issues that arise, making sure the installation is fitted in line with the program and that the installation is to our high-quality standards.
• Installers may be directly employed or be sub-contract fitting teams.
• To attend any ad-hock progress meetings called by the main contractor / client.
• To assess on-going and completed works and produce claims for payment.
• To attend practical completion meetings at the end of the project for sign over.
• To address any snagging issues in a prompt and comprehensive manor to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
• The role will entail working closely with Operations, Contracts, Design and Production teams as well as attending weekly meetings to report on the various stages of on-going projects.

Small Works Manager - Position Requirements

• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects within the industry, ideally of a similar size and scope. <£50,000.00
• Will be highly motivated, organised and driven with a can do attitude.
• Able to work on their own but also as part of a larger team.
• Have a strong surveying background and experience of managing several projects concurrently.
• Have a solid understanding of the commercial aspects to delivering projects of this size and scope.
• Be focused on delivering projects on time, within budget to the clients satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence

• 25 days holiday this does not include statutory holidays.
