Job Description

To improve the performance, process capability and maintenance procedures of the forming department, to include the introduction of new products and equipment, in line with production goals and targets.Client Details Their Mission is to provide the most innovative sustainable packaging solutions, exceeding our customers expectations with top quality and outstanding service. Description

  • Establish and monitor key measurements of machine performance, process capability and maintenance procedures using Cosmino data, Quality and waste reports.
  • Identify opportunities for improving machine performance, process capability and maintenance procedures.
  • Establish and lead engineering team tool changes on all forming machines.
  • Provide a technical and hands on support to engineering teams.
  • Assist and where designated lead on new forming equipment introductions.
  • Support, and where designated lead on new product introduction in to forming.
  • Ensure comprehensive technical specifications are prepared for all projects.
  • Assist in establishing "best practice" maintenance procedures.
  • Continuously reduce the health and safety risk
Prepare training materials that satisfy the training needs associated with all new developments and proceduresProfile Qualifications / Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in an associated discipline.
  • Experience in the design of complex machines.
  • Practical hands on engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials.
  • Experience in the use and development of computer systems, spreadsheets and CAD.
  • Working in an ISO9001 environment.
