Job Description

Multiskilled EngineerAre you a strong multiskilled EngineerYolk recruitment are working exclusively with a SME Manufacturer in Blackwood who have been established for over 120 years. Trusted by thousands of customers across the globe they are proud to provide a product range which is driven by quality.This company has recently moved into a purpose built factory four times bigger which will allow them to sustain their customers demand and to continue their growth plans for many years to come.This is what youll be doing.Youll be working on a 2 shift pattern, reporting into the Engineering Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) System,Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing both a pro-active and reactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
  • Implementing and adjusting the PPM schedule utilising Root Cause Analysis techniques to identify trends to improve machinery OEE.
  • Responsible for planned scheduling, overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out whilst ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
  • Knowledge of PLC interrogation and fault finding through OEM Software.
The Experience youll bring to the team.
  • It is essential that the successful applicant is a time-served, apprentice trained engineer, who is passionate about wanting to transform operational efficiencies.
  • It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have demonstrated experience of working with a CMMS system.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels, both within the organisation and with suppliers.
  • Able to work as a constructive member of a team, and have strong sense of responsibility
  • Professionalism; displays a positive attitude toward company strategy
  • Proven ability to be able to work well and deliver results, even in times of pressure.
