Job Description PMP Recruitment are currently recruiting for Creeler Machine Operators within a Tufting Department at a manufacturing site near Oakdale - NP11.The positions involve loading yarn onto creels and to ensure machines are set and run to produce carpet to the required specification / standard.Candidates will need previous experience within Machine Operating.Pay Rates :£11.07phMain duties:· To join yarns using splice guns with speed and accuracy ensuring ends are not missed out.· To re-thread run-out yarns and trace and count rouge ends.· Loading yarn onto creels and to ensure machines are set and kept running to produce carpet to the required specification.· To complete all relevant documentation.· Maintaining good housekeeping in and around your work area.· Operate Tufting MachinesThe role involves handling packages of yarn varying in weights from 2kg -5.5kg throughout the day.Shift Patterns / Hours:The positions are based on a three shift pattern of days nights and afternoons.Days Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-12 noonNights Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am, Fri 6pm-12 midnightAfternoons Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 12 noon-6pmContract length:Temp to Perm for the right candidateCOVID-19 considerations:We are a Covid safe site.
