Job Description

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician Would you like to work for an established, successful manufacturing business, that has secured new multi million pound contracts Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our client, a specialist manufacturer. Excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate.Overview

  • To maximise machines’ output and maintain manufacturing processes in a fast pace and busy production environment
  • To continuously improve manufacturing processes in order to maximise safety, quality and productivity of production lines
Key responsibilities
  • Provision of engineering and operational support to a manufacturing area
  • Machine setting, to achieve product specification and performance
  • Maintenance of automated inspection systems
  • Fault finding and corrective action
  • Machine inspection
  • Responding to minor breakdowns
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Major breakdowns
  • To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, GMP and company policies and procedures.
  • Preparation of sub-assembly
  • Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager
Qualifications
  • A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship
  • Experience of high speed, high volume production environment, ideally FMCG / packaging sectors

Shifts:
  • Monday to Friday, 3 Shift Rotation 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10 pm to 6am
Salary:
  • £ 35,542 (inclusive of shift allowance), plenty of overtime available
