Job Description

A market-leading finance broker is recruiting for aspiring Insurance Advisors. You will contact existing customers in a warm-calling sales role. As well as a starting salary of £23,500, which rises to £25,500 after probation, the company also provides an uncappedcommission scheme with OTEs of £40,000-£60,000. £23,500 basic salary, rising to £25,500 after passing probation

As an Insurance Advisor, your day-to-day role will include:

Making outbound calls to existing customers, selling a range of Insurance products including Life, Critical Illness, Family Income Benefit, Income Protection, Mortgage Protection, Whole of Life and Building and Contents
Speaking to a broad panel of providers and other partners
Conducting fact-finds and financial background checks as appropriate
Providing referrals to preferred partners as appropriate

As full training and study support is provided, we encourage candidates from any telephone-based sales background to apply to this Insurance Advisor role. However, we would be really keen to see individuals with the following:

Current, or recent, experience working in an outbound calling environment in roles such as Sales Executive, Telesales, New Business Advisor, Mortgage Advisor, Loans Advisor
Proven background in successfully working towards and hitting sales targets/KPIs
Ability to handle objections and close deals, implementing a customer-centred and compliant process
Experience working in a Financially/FCA regulated business (desirable, but not essential)
