Scuba diving is a great family activity that can be relaxing, technical or adrenaline charged.About the Role:Apeks Marine Equipment Ltd, part of the Aqua Lung Group, are looking to recruit a Tool Designer to join us at our site in Blackburn to provide Tool Design, Tool Making and engineering support to our Moulding and Design departments in the design, manufacture, supply and maintenance of injection and compression mould and press tooling.You will coordinate time and resources of Mould Tool production to satisfy the demands of the Moulding and Product Design Departments for mould tool delivery.Right first time to meet Production and New Product Schedules, at approved cost and quality, you will continuously improve delivery, efficiency and throughput, whilst reducing Mould Tool breakdowns, maintenance and production wastes in alignment with customers needs.About You:To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a minimum time served recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in Injection Mould Toolmaking with a HNC or City & Guilds and proven Injection Mould Tool Designing experience. With sound knowledge of Cimatron (or similar) Mould Design software, you will have the ability to recognise and resolve complex tool making problems, operating within exacting limits and a high degree of integrity. An understanding of SolidWorks software, Process Optimisation Injection Moulding Machines and a basic knowledge of Mould Flow Analysis would be desirable, however is not essential.Why Join usAside from joining a well established every growing business, we offer:
