Job Description

CMM Programmer/ Quality Inspector

Due to continued business growth the company is looking to recruit a skilled CMM Programmer/ Quality Inspector. You will be offered the opportunity to work within a fully equipped workplace which continues to invest in the latest CNC technology.The job:
  • First off and batch inspection
  • Produce CMM programs (ideally using Mitutoyo MCOSMOS software) to be used for in process and final inspection
  • Final inspection
  • Compile FAIR, PPAP and batch inspection dimensional measurement data
  • Calibration of measurement equipment
  • Support Engineers and Operators with quality issues
  • Isolate and detail non-conforming parts
About you:
  • Ideally, 3 to 5 years’ experience programming (preferably Zeiss CMM)
  • Experience within a CNC machining environment
  • A good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and standards
  • The ability to communicate and work well with others
