Lab TechnicianBlackburnSalary £20,000 - £23,000Full Time - 37.5 HoursAbout the RoleWere looking to recruit a Lab Technician to join our team in Blackburn to support the Paper Technology Specialist by conducting various tests and analysis on incoming materials and finished products along with research and development testing and analysis.Youll play a vital part in testing and analysis by keeping accurate records and ensuring systems are in place to accurately retrieve archived data and samples and you will report the analysis findings to the Paper Technology Specialist and other relevantdepartments.This is a new and exciting role that requires a proactive and motivated attitude to ensure we supply a World Class customer service.About YouEducated to GCSE grade C or above, including Maths and English, youll be competent with Microsoft Excel with a can-do positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will need to have the ability to use recognised analytical data analysismethods.With a flexible approach to working hours is a necessity in a fast-paced environment, youll need to be able to effectively adapt your communications skills keeping a professional manner at all times.The right candidate will need to be smart enough to work independently and be trusted with the tasks they are given whilst being confident enough to report any issues and be passionate about delivering high quality outcomes.
