Job Description

We are currently working with a well-established brand with the Blackburn area who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join them due to increase in workload and a restructure of the team. This business is a fantastic success story and is continuingto grow through acquisition and market growth, therefore this newly created position of Finance Manager is key to develop and grow the internal reporting structure.Duties include:

  • Responsible for producing the monthly management reporting pack.
  • Monitor the monthly expenditure budgets/forecasts and provide feedback on variances.
  • Assist with the quarterly/annual budgeting and forecasting reports, around product analysis, customer trends and margin control.
  • Support the Group reporting providing commentary around results on both the monthly and statutory pack
  • Work closely with the commercial/operational teams to understand the accountability of company financials.
  • Responsible for the daily management of a small finance team, offering support and advice on best practice with process
  • Complete various reconciliations including cash balances, stock reconciliations and as well balance reconciliations and review.
  • Provide key stakeholder information on financial and specific commercial projects.
The successful candidate will be:
  • Preferably ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience of managing a team and providing guidance on Best Practice
  • Extensive experience of monthly reporting schedule
  • A keen eye for detail outside of the finance function with non-finance personnel
