Job Description

Together Housing is one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, managing over 37,000 homes across the region. We are dedicated to providing safe and high-quality housing for our residents and ensuring their wellbeing.We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair works on our properties.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking construction and refurbishment works, including bricklaying, pointing, flagging and other general building works
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks on both tenanted and vacant properties
  • Working to specifications and quality standards and ensuring compliance with building regulations
  • Organizing and managing workload effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with other team members and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven experience as a Builder, with expertise in various aspects of construction and building works
  • Good knowledge of building regulations and health and safety standards
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
