Job Description

Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for front-line work Join our team in the intake service area for the next 3 months as we embark on a journey of innovation and explore new ways of working to address the increasing volume of work cominginto our Adult Social Care (ASC) department. This role specifically focuses on short-term duty work without case holding responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone duty and initial contact work, prioritizing and responding to incoming cases.
  • Utilise your legal literacy, IT skills, and excellent communication abilities to assess and manage cases effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
  • Conduct robust risk assessments and crisis management, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.
  • Apply your safeguarding experience to handle crisis situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals in need.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a social worker, with a focus on front-line work.
  • SWE registered
  • Enhanced, clear DBS
  • UK drivers license
