We have an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our clients Head Office based in Hillington, Glasgow.Established for over 15 years, our client has continued to grow year on year, with the supply of products throughout the UK and Mainland Europe. You will be responsible for managing 2 staff members and for overseeing all the warehousing and distribution operations. You will ensure the receipt and dispatch of products, ensuring targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes run safely, efficiently and on time. Main Duties: Ensure all work carried out complies with Health and Safety regulations.Set clear day to day schedules and direction for the teamOversee/support all operation including goods in, goods out, stock management Unpacking, checking & locating new arrived stock (manual handling) Loading & unloading deliveries using forklifts.Utilise the warehouse management system to manage stock control Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to ensure the effective receipt and delivery of goods.Maintain record keeping in line with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.Produce MI reports and monitor SLA Agreements.Manage staff holidays. Develop the Warehousing Team, performance reviews and ensure development plans are maintained and individuals are appropriately trained and qualified to carry out their duties. Ensure the warehouse layout is optimised to achieve efficient utilisation of space.Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, goods stored safely.Skills, Qualifications & AttributesComputer literate with experience of warehouse management software and databases.
