Job Description

Warehouse ManagerTemp / Fixed Term Contract£15.38 per hour PAYE / equivalent to £30,000 Based; GlasgowJoining the UKs leading funeral provider as a Team Leader within Glasgows Coffin Factory, youll build positive relationships with all teams across the factory to make sure performance is meeting requirements. Bringing excellent leadership skills, you will support the growth of Co-op Funeralcare, and in return they can offer you the chance to develop your skills. At the production plant they have a strong culture of team work and as a key leader at the plant you will play a big part in this.AccountabilitiesAs a Team Leader youll lead a team of up to 20 people within a critical phase of the production process. Youll plan and co-ordinate the work activities and resources required for the manufacturing process.

  • Lead, manage and coach the team encouraging team work and a positive culture where the customer is kept at the heart of the operation
  • Support the team with technical operations and maintain an understanding of the tools used
  • Plan, direct and co-ordinate the work activities and resources required for the production of products in accordance with cost, quantity and quality specifications
  • Complete regular one to ones and appraisals with the team
    • Desired Skills & Experience
  • Manufacturing experience within an operational environment preferably within a similar industry or where similar management skills are used
  • Strong leadership skills and previous people management experience
  • A good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • A familiarity of Co-op Funeralcare and the services we provide
