Supply Chain Lead 6 MonthsScotstoun, Glasgow£22.00 PAYE - £27.85 UmbAdvantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a prestigious manufacturing organisation operating within the defence sector to find a talented Supply Chain Lead, ideally from defence or similar industry e.g. automotive, aerospace.In this role, you will draw upon Procurement best practice, subject matter expertise to lead assigned Procurement Packages within the Raw Materials and Commodities Categories.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the delivery and performance of procurement packages as allocated by the Supply Chain Manager, this will be covering procurement of a range of Raw Materials and Commodities.* Commercial Management of contract lifecycle in line with contract T&Cs and KPIs* Negotiation of engineering changes* Supplier performance management; on time delivery & right first-time quality, resolution of contractual performance issues* Budget management* Adherence to programme schedule; govern delays & change management across the contract* Prepare for and feed into multi discipline reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Factory Acceptance Test, Monthly Contract Reviews* Investigate claims and incidences /dispute resolution with suppliers* Internal and external stakeholder management* Development/delivery of management reportingThe Person we are looking for will have:* Experience of contract management in a Supply Chain environment in defence or similar industry e.g. automotive, aerospace* Demonstrate knowledge of Contract Management best practice* Working knowledge of the legal environment related to purchasing contracts and framework agreements* Have the ability to develop and implement contract management strategies* Have strong negotiation and influencing skills* Good supplier and stakeholder management skills and ability communicate effectively at all levels* Able to identify and manage Risks & Opportunities* Financial spend management* Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise work* Strong MS Office skillsIf you match the above criteria, please apply directly or call for a further details quoting reference number 843100Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
