Job Description

They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement,and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets and building their customer base further.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Process Operator on a 12 Month contract based within the clients site in InchinnanCore duties and responsibilities

  • A Process Operator will be required to work within strict HS&E guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Maintaining our excellent quality standards and being an integral part of our manufacturing process
  • Working within a cutting-edge manufacturing facility, so basic IT knowledge is essential.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver customer needs in a high-volume environment whilst following processes and procedures to a standard as already defined
  • The Process Operator will be visually inspecting components to a visual standard.
  • Duties also involve Loading and unloading various process equipment, e.g. vibratory bowls and blasting equipment & Feeding back information to Manufacturing Engineer and team.
Key Skills and experience required
  • The Successful Candidate will have experience of working in a Manufacturing Environment (ideally working in an operator role within in a volume manufacturing environment with experience of working with Nickel, Titanium and Steel Alloys).
  • Standard Grade Levels 1-3, or equivalent, in English, Maths and a Technical subject are essential (original qualifications must be available for review before any interview)
  • Understand how to maintain a clean and safe environment in the workplace and how to work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings/manufacturing instructions would be desirable
  • An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures
