ERSKINE has been caring for Veterans for over 100 years. Our four purpose built Care Homes provide quality care of the elderly in a homely environment. We currently have an opportunity for the following in the Erskine Home, Bishopton:IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT MODERN APPRENTICE 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK – INCLUDING WEEKEND WORK(2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT)16 – 19 YEARS OLD (PRIOR TO 31 DECEMBER 2020)SALARY £13,395 PER ANNUMIn your role as an IT Technical Support Modern Apprentice, you will work in an IT support role within a care home environment. The role will provide 1st line IT and telecommunications technical support to our users, residents and volunteers across all Erskine sites and departments.You will work within the IT team where you will be supported by an experienced IT support professional as well as receive valuable on-the-job training to compliment your learning as you complete your Modern Apprenticeship in IT and Telecommunications.National 5s (including English and Computing Science), or equivalent, are essential for this role. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is also required.
