Job Description

Adecco are currently recruiting for our prestigious Global client based in Linwood for an Internal Sales candidate. The product portfolio contains more than 250,000 product lines in a wide variety of plastic and metal parts within the fastener industry.The role will include accounts that have to be managed to ensure enquiries are received and returned in a timely manner and within the agreed SLAs. Chasing quotations, processing orders and ensuring parts are delivered on time and in full. The candidatewill liaise with all company departments including warehouse and must have good internal and external communication skills. Ideally the candidate may have some engineering or fastener knowledge but this is not critical.Salary = £23,000Hours = Monday to Friday ; 0730 - 1600Key responsibilities:

  • Management of quotationsLog each enquiry from key customersCreate RFQ for each part and send to approved suppliersReceive returned prices and create a best-costPresent and discuss costs before making quotationsMaintain quote log dailyTranslate orders, once received
  • New part introductionManage the introduction of new parts onto computer system in liaison with all deptsCreation of stock code and item descriptionBag/bin quantity creation
  • General enquiries and maintaining customer relationshipsPeriodically visit, webex or conference calls with customersComplete customer portals or similar dependant on customer requirements
  • General administration including raising credit notes for returned parts and cover for colleagues
Key skills required:
  • Excellent Microsoft package ability
  • Clear telephone voice
  • previous experience within a sales desk role (not cold calling)
  • full customer service ability
  • fantastic communication skills
  • work with field sales team and obtain data they require
  • time keeping
  • excellent attendance track record required
