Job Description

Business Development Executive - Glasgow (Central belt) - GBP £30,000 - £45,000 + commissionAre you passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation Are you driven by the desire to make a positive impact on our planetIf so, I have a new and exciting position with a leading management company in the recycling industry.My client is a leading recycling business is dedicated to promoting a greener future. They specialise in the processing, and repurposing of recyclable materials to minimize waste and reduce environmental footprint. Their mission is to create a sustainableand circular economy by providing innovative recycling solutions to businesses and individuals.They searching for a passionate and career-driven Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.You will be responsible for generating new business and expanding their client base. You will work closely with members of the team to identify potential clients, promote products/services, and close sales.This company prides itself on a strong culture, high-performing teams, and an incredible workplace therefore you will be based on-site. You will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK!Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients, markets, and partnerships for expanding our recycling services. Develop and implement effective strategies to target and acquire new business accounts.
  • Establish strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their recycling needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for clients, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Create comprehensive business development plans to drive growth and achieve sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and customer retention strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, assess market demand, and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development. Ensure timely and successful closure of deals while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer support teams to ensure seamless execution of recycling services. Provide feedback and insights to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Prior experience in the waste industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proven history of securing new business and driving sales growth.
  • Preferred experience in engaging with clients within the Construction industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and awareness of market trends.
  • Ability to establish and cultivate professional relationships.
  • Resilient and tenacious, able to handle challenges effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude, delivering outstanding support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in IT skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
