Job Description

Account ManagerWarwick - hybridSalary £42k - £48k plus car allowance and excellent benefits package As an Account Manager in the retail sector, you will play a pivotal role in managing allocated accounts, overseeing stock, debt, and the delivery of goods and services. Your mission is to achieve sales targets by developingand maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers. We value ethical sales methods to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop individual account strategy, tactics, sales plans, and profit targets.
  • Submit and achieve individual account/personal objectives in line with company strategies.
  • Negotiate on price and costs with key customers, maintaining regular communication.
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate customer profiles and data for marketing activities.
  • Provide an interface between Group colleagues and key account contacts for effective communication.
  • Proactively identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Present key market information to management for future business development.
  • Take responsibility for individual account stock control, ordering procedures, and distribution methods.
  • Manage account profit & loss and debt effectively.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of relationship building with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated, organised, calm, accurate, confident, and a clear communicator.
  • Proactive in identifying customer needs and delivering new business opportunities within a Key Account.
  • Ability to engage internal team support to satisfy customer needs.
  • Computer literate with demonstrated competence in Excel and other Microsoft packages.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive.
