Job Description

A niche recruitment firm specialising in Permanent and Contract roles in the Financial Services Sector is looking for a Recruitment Consultant in Bishops Stortford. You will receive a salary of up to £22,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits includingexcellent career progression opportunities, an excellent work-life balance, and an excellent commission and bonus plan.The purpose of your role as Recruitment Consultant will be to deliver sourcing and sales activities to assist clients with their hiring requirements. Your aim is to strive to be an effective ambassador for the business, projecting a professional, positive,energetic, honest and friendly image to all of customers both internal and external, and doing all you can to deliver a first-class customer experience.As Recruitment Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Speaking with clients to understand their hiring needs
  • Sourcing relevant profiles using recruitment technology platforms
  • Searching and selecting CVs
  • Screening candidates by phone
  • Relationship building and management
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Active marketing, outreach and business development activity to attract new business
  • Managing interview processes and taking feedback
  • Managing job offers and negotiations
We are looking for a candidate who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Previous Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Confident in speaking with lots of different people
  • A good listener with the ability to ask questions and find out information
  • Energetic and driven with a positive attitude
You will have access to excellent training and development, with some personal targets to work towards. You will need to be able to collate information about your activities and meet with your managers on a regular basis.
