Job Description

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client based in Bishops Stortford on a permanent basis.Roles and responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections using procedures, engineering drawings, regulations, and quality system records (Device History Records, checklist, inspection records, etc.)
  • Use standard measuring equipment to perform inspections (Micrometer, Calipers, etc.)
  • Identify, segregate, document rejected material in designated areas and communicate accordingly.
  • Provides help in other aspects of quality control when required
  • Review quality documentation.
    • Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year preferred in mechanical inspection or other technical experience.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Capable of using standard Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Excel, Word, etc).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Technical Excellence - Detail oriented. Seeks input from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables.
  • Execution / Accountability - Provides clear and accurate data regarding product and process measurables. Delivers transactions as assigned.
