Job Description

Merchandiser - Mid / Senior Level - Bishops Stortford hybrid role - up to £50,000 DOESC4 is excited to be working with a hugely successful business that is experiencing huge growth in the Bishops Stortford area to recruit an established Merchandiser to join their established Merchandising team.This role will play a key part in our client meeting/exceeding sales and margin targets across all their sales channels. You will be responsible for maximising profit and minimalising the markdown through sales planning, range building, forecasting, reviewingand balancing stock levels.This role is working from home 2 days a week with up to 3 days office based if required.Experienced Need for this Role:-

  • You must have some people management experience as well as having experience in full product journey including end of life.
  • You will need to have experience in managing category planning
  • Experience in analysing range data will be required so you can support the buyers in future planning decisions
Your Responsibilities will include:-
  • Category planning for specific categories
  • Weekly Forecasting in line with the current trend across product categories
  • Forecasting for future demands across all channels and Forecasting saleson WSSI
  • Managing End of Life (Clearance) products through planned activity
  • Identifying opportunities to trade stock through all channels
  • ManagingCritical Path alongside buying to ensure new ranges are delivered on time!
  • Working with Stock Control to manage stock levels and the Merchandise critical path
