Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Assistant/Administrator Location: Bishops Stortford, HertfordshireSalary: £25,000- £30,000 paType: PermanentA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join my clients successful business in Bishops Stortford.The Role of Accounts Assistant/Administrator:Your role will be to provide full accounts support to the Finance Manager. You will also be required to carry out all general accounting duties including:

  • Posting invoices
  • Chasing invoices
  • Comfortable with answering accounts queries both in-house and by phone with customers and suppliers
  • Payroll
  • Emailing statements and invoices
  • Bank reconcilliations
  • Credit control assistance
  • To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant/Administrator:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Sage 50 experience is essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Good team player and happy to work within a small team
  • Well organised
  • A positive attitude is essential
  • Reliable, flexible and out going
