We are seeking 3 x Steel and Architectural metalwork fitters for a bespoke Steel Fabrication Company in Bishops Stortford .Experienced Steel Fitters allicants are encourage to assist their team within a defined period towards a Permanent position to help, installing balustrades, stairs and other structural steel based components,Primary duties include:Installing balustrades / stairs / railing and other steel fittingsWorking individually and as part of a team .Presenting a Positive attitude to safety and qualityTo work well on own initiative and as part of a teamShow a understanding of structural principles,Be Punctual and reliableIdeal candidate:Experienced steel fitter candidates will need a minimum requirement :* CSCS-Blue or higher skilled card - NVQ 2 Steel erector.* Full drivers licence* Experience is essential in installing balconies/stair balustrades/railings/ 1st fix bracecting/ other architectural metalwork elements and some smaller structural steel knowledge.* Be able to read installation drawings* Adhere to working on 5-point PPE construction sites.* Be able to work either as part of a team or with a single labourer.Other competencies that would be an advantage, but not essential at this time:(future training to take place)* SSSTS/ SMSTS* CPCS Slinger/Crane supervisor* IPAF SitesRequired work at various sites in / around London and the surrounding areas.A company van will be provided.Minimum 8 hours on site per day . Overtime to be paid at x 1/3 after hours per week .PAYE employed basis _ On a Temporary to Permanent BasisTravelling hours are included in the hourly rate.HRGO GO Bishops Stortford Required skills
