Job Description

Our client based in the Wakefield / Leeds area are seeking anExperienced Quality Technician.he role exists immediately on a full time permanent basis.Hours: 36.5 Per weekSalary: £27384The primary function of the role:

  • To maintain and improve product quality and develop the existing quality systems, as well as run the calibration system within the company to achieve cost and timing KPIs in the business.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Hands on approach to working in a shop floor environment.
  • Critical working relationships must be established with production managers, team leaders, logistics, engineering staff, machine operators, material suppliers and customers.
  • Regular input new thinking, technology and practices
  • Bench marking exercises
  • Achievement of product quality targets.
  • Research new manufacturing methods, materials and techniques.
  • Management reporting / collating statistics and data
Skills , Abilities and Personal attributes:
  • Excellent communication
  • Sound Judgement
  • Business Acumen and commercial awareness
  • Able to work as a team on all business levels
