Job Description

Job Title: HR Assistant Location: LeedsSalary: £22,000 - £25,000 FTE dependant on qualifications/experienceHoursFull and Part time will be consideredBenefits

The Role
  • First point of contact for generalHRqueries across the C80 Group, liaising with the HR Manager as required for employee relations, employment contracts, and policy support
  • Supporting the recruitment for all roles, the Group is expanding and there will be 25+ potential new hires in 2023
  • Source applicants through online channels and professional networks
  • Organise and attend job fairs
  • Ensure the smooth on boarding of new starters
  • Handle allHRcorrespondence including documents relating to new starters, leavers and employee changes
  • Keep up to date and accurate employee records (holidays, absence, reward and benefits processing, communications)
  • Ensure line managers are keeping the HR database maintained and updated with starters, leavers, contractual changes, sickness and holidays and Liaise with payroll regarding new starters, changes and leavers
  • Assist with salary review process.
  • Ensure HR Manager is kept up to date and informed.
  • To assist the HR Manager with the administrative tasks.
The Person Youll need to be highly organised, effective at time management and have a can do attitude, with the ability to communicate with managers and employees at all levels and be able to advise on HR and recruitment.Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrable HR knowledge and experience in a generalist setting.
  • CIPD Level 3 or above would be advantageous
  • Confident in advising managers
  • Familiarity with social media and professional networks
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR policies would be advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and use initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of standard office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to use HR Online System
  • Clean drivers license and own vehicle
