Job Description

Birstall-based trade printer FlexPress is looking for a self-motivated and hard-working Financial Administrator to join their dedicated, friendly team.If youre an experienced administrator with solid experience using Sage 50 accounting software, we want to hear from you.Financial AdministratorBirstall, Leicester, LE4 3BYFull Time, Permanent£25k-£30k negotiable dependent on experiencePlease Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UKFlexPress is of the fastest growing printing companies in the Midlands. We have one of the most advanced printing facilities in the country and, as a trade company, specialise in printing a wide range of books, magazines, manuals and brochures for otherprinters, publishers, graphic designers and print management companies.About the RoleWe are now looking for a full time Financial Administrator to oversee all financial administration and bookkeeping within the business.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales & Purchase Ledger data entry and upkeep
  • Cash flow & Bank Reconciliation
  • Monthly Payroll
  • Supplying the MD with KPI data
You will also be supporting the team with other admin duties as required, for example:
  • Meeting & greeting clients and suppliers
  • Answering general calls
  • Shipping & Dispatch administration
About YouKnowledge of Sage 50 accounting software is essential.You must be reliable, well-organised and thorough.Most importantly, you will respect confidentiality and be 100% trustworthy as you will be dealing with business sensitive/private information.Experience of the following would be advantageous:
  • Understand Journal Entries/Interest/Depreciation
  • Be able to confidently run off management accounts
  • Be a confident and capable user of Excel
Hours and SalarySalary is from £25,000 p/a, negotiable for candidates with relevant experience, particularly Sage 50.The position is full time, 40 hours per week. Some flexibility is available regarding working hours.Because this role is so diverse, we are looking for someone able to work onsite.Perks
