Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager for a growing freght forwarding company to cover the North and Midlands, selling their services across a wide client base. There is only an occasional requirement to be at the office in Yorkshire so preciselocation is not critical but the area covered is expected to broadly comprise Yorkshire and the East Midlands.There is real prospects of progression from this role into Team Management for the right candidateFollowing up on leads generated by the business, you will engage with a variety of clients to build long relationships based on great service.The Role

  • Research territory to identify target clients
  • Lead funnel from inbound enquiries, warm leads from the business and self generated prospects
  • Build robust pipeline based on conversion rates to ensure target delivery
  • Manage client from early stage to contract signature
  • Manage all stakeholders, internal and external
  • Identify and qualify growth potential and assist with development of marketing
  • Plan client visits, travel and own diary
