Flourish Education is currently working with an Ofsted rated Good school in Sparkbrook who are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join their support staff in a Year 5 class on a long-term basis. It is a 2 form entry school and the role will be to support both classes. Our client wants someone with good behaviour management, a good knowledge of the curriculum and encourages students to achieve their best. This Teaching Assistant role will be mainly based within a Year 5 class however our client would like a Teaching Assistant who is flexible across the primary age range. The class has lower than average children with SEN. This Teaching Assistant role will start at the end of September and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time so 5 days a week and the hours will be 8:20- 3:20.To apply to this Teaching Assistant role, you will need the following:. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above . Experience in KS1 and/or 2 . Good behaviour management . Commitment to the role Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:. Work closely with the class teacher . Motivate and encourage pupils .
