Job Description

Totally Recruitment Ltd recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established kitchens and bathrooms manufacturer at our site in Tyseley, Birmingham.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across all functions within the Quality department to influence decisions that promote product improvement.Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for checking the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products to ensure that our products meet all specifications, are compliant with legislation and ensure our customers havehigh-quality merchandise.The role:

  • Performing Inspections on all kitchen products ensuring the product meets the requirements of specifications, legal compliance, and standards
  • Assisting in the resolution of customer service issues by supporting stock checks and special care activities
  • Responding with a high sense of urgency to quality issues and escalate / communicate appropriately
  • Escalating as appropriate identified incidents/issues on site that impact quality, integrity, housekeeping and safe working practices
  • Help to cut rejects and scrap pages on all the shop-floor with investigations, reports and procedures to help resolve any issues found
  • Maintaining records of testing, information, and various metrics to support the quality team
