* Front End JavaScript development ideally with knowledge of TestCafe* Role would suit a developer looking to move into testing or an eye for Quality* Opportunities to progress into a more senior and management roleMy Birmingham based client are looking for a Senior QA Engineer ideally someone with a proven background in SDET, software development engineering in test.The client are a leading source of analysis data on business and financial information, delivering this information through a range of online media internationally.Their digital solutions team provides services to the businesses and is also responsible for products including the online web platform and digital apps.They use open-source technologies wherever possible and give back to the community by open sourcing code when appropriate and are actively changing their landscape, incorporating continuous integration and tightening the feedback loop through continuous delivery.As the QA Engineer your:Responsibilities * Performing quality analysis of code, tests, integration suites and pipelines.* Peer review of unit tests, integration tests and testing tool reviews.* Take ownership of and develop automated testing capabilities across websites, mobile apps and production processes.* You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into their overall development processes that support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes.* Building, executing and troubleshooting comprehensive suites of test packs.* Development of tool sets to augment QA and Development testing.* Be meticulous about documentation and maintain a robust log of all test cases and test results.* Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality.* Assist in implementation of the overall quality analysis strategy.* Actively participate in code reviews of written code.
