Job Description

GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a highly recognisable and successful supplier located in Rubery. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.On offer is a salary of £23,000 for the successful candidate.As an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator you will be the first point of contact for sales queries on a day-to-day basis to provide excellent customer service to our customers via telephone and written communication. Additionally to assist with general enquiries,processing orders and Quotations. This role also involves working closely with and assisting the external sales team daily and internal departments.Due to the nature of this role, it is vital you can demonstrate previous administrative and customer service experience. Additionally previous sales experience, both internally and externally, will be of a distinct advantage.Internal Sales Co-Ordinator main duties:

  • Develop a full understanding of our internal systems
  • First point of contact for our customers and external sales team via telephone and email.
  • Processing orders in line with customer requirements
  • Prepare Quotations for customers, ensuring they are prepared accurately and on time
  • Progress sales orders and advise customers of ETAs or any delays
  • Advise customers of stock availability
  • General Administration
  • Liaise with Warehouse and production personnel in regards stock availability and or customer requirements.
  • Process return orders in line with customer requirements and arrange collection and return to our warehouse.
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships to ensure a collaborative service and to provide the best customer service experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customer base.

Internal Sales Co-Ordinator desired skills and experience:
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Must have at least 2 years administrative and customer service experience
  • A confident, friendly and professional telephone manner is essential
  • Excellent accuracy to detail
  • Ability to work as a team and using own initiative
