Job Description

HR Advisor Contract Type: 12-month fixed term contract Working Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Central Birmingham Salary: £35,306 per annumWhat to expectThis Housing Association’s award-winning HR team is seeking a HR Advisor to join them on a 12 months fixed-term basis. You’ll be a go-to person for people related support in a fast-paced organisation that has high expectations of its HR Team; a trusted advisorproactively working closely with business managers to support and challenge them to develop and maintain high-performing and engaged teams.Responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Analysing and interpreting management information; proactively identify people related trends, advising on appropriate management solutions and supporting HR Business Partners to facilitate and embed required change.
  • Managing casework effectively to ensure resolutions are solution focussed and timely.
  • Supporting salary benchmarking activities, job evaluations the design of roles and the creation of succinct, outcomes-focussed Role Profiles.
  • Working collaboratively with HR Business Partners, the Diversity Business Partner and the Wellbeing Advisor to develop and support the implementation of engagement, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be a level 5 or higher CIPD qualified HR professional.
  • Have demonstrable experience of providing effective generalist HR advice and guidance within a fast-paced, customer-focussed environment.
  • Come equipped with experience of applying, or an understanding of, transactional HR processes and related legislation throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to effectively challenge and influence managers and their team members to deliver positive people related outcomes.
This organisation values being able to meet their HR Advisor team in-person.
