Job Description

I have a fantastic new Admin and Ticketing Executive role for a successful Tour Operator who needs someone to support their team when they are closed during the evenings and overnight. This role will be homeworking and you will be working within the offlineteam. The role is to provide a multi-functional administration support service to their reservation teams and their customers and to ensure all requests are handled with speed, accuracy and professionalism. My client is flexible on shifts and will considerfull or part time hours.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ticketer with great GDS knowledge from a Tour Operations or Business Travel environment to take a positive step into a role that offers excellent career progression.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willing to cover an out of office hours work patternExcellent GDS knowledge of Amadeus/GAL/WorldspanGood communication skillsGood attention to detailStrong customer focusGood organisational skillsJOB DESCRIPTION:Quality assure bookings made through the call centre.Produce and dispatch invoices, cancellation invoices, ensuring production timescales are met.Dispatch Travel Documentation, ensuring high levels of accuracy when checking documentation.Admin Reporting, demonstrate high levels of accuracy when checking reports.Rebooking flights within the GDS, hotels and transfers when required.Make changes to existing bookings when requested by our customers through the manage my booking portal, or via the telephone.Review/action the general Amadeus queues alongside ticketingRelocations, ensure these are dealt with quickly to resolve and secure alternative properties to match customers requirements.Flight changes and supplier amendments are communicated out to agents.Ticket dispatch for ReservationsTo support the Team Leader with Sales Support queries.Provide out of hours support for the emergency out of hours support line for JTA agents/passengers. Effectively dealing with any issues that may arise with a reservation in UK and overseas.EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:You must have a minimum 2 years experience in airline reservations/ticketing role and have solid knowledge of GDS, especially Amadeus and Travelport.
